So I have a confession…. I’m a scrapbook-a-holic. I know it’s a horrible, horrible addiction… oh well, I LOVE it!!! Last year I learned about digital scrapbooking and although I didn’t fall in love with it, it’s recently become a past time of mine at college. When I have a little extra free time, I sit and make up some pages on my computer because although I’d rather actually sit and create the page, it’s too much of a hassle to bring all my stuff up from Texas… plus there would be no where to put it…. too much stuff!!! Anyways, that all aside, this page turned out so cute!!!
As it is Halloween time, our FHE group decided to crave pumpkins for an activity, and me and Rachel had been wanting to do this for a while anyways so it was the perfect opportunity… see… we both love the Calvin and Hobbes comics and most especially their poor snowmen. Well we took the idea and spun it into a little twisted scene of our own… Poor Pumpkins…
As you can see, we spent a lot of time putting this together and thinking of ideas on how to torture and torment these pumpkins. The big giant one in the middle is obviously being attacked by this assortment of pumpkin warriors of all different types. After all cannibalism is not tolerated in most societies!!!
I can’t decided which one is my favorite: the Spartan (me!) or the Crazy Pirate Albino (Rachel)… it’s a tough decision…. There was also a Men in Black agent (that was Audrey, she did a good job drawing the face), a crazy looking one with a fork and knife (Shelley) and then the cave man with a club (Jill). Poor Squishy was dead and had already been eaten and Alissa was following close behind.
