I’m going to try posting a blog entry with no pictures… so this may or may not be interesting…
So I’m back home for the summer, but it’s not really summer right now. I’m not too upset because it’s tons warmer than where I was (aka there’s no snow on the ground) and I was getting a little sick of school and needed a nice long break from classes and homework and the stress of needing to make good grades but still have a fun time and not be a complete social outcast. I think I managed that the last two semesters up at college but I’m pretty sure that if I had stayed another semester my grades would have gone down the drain.
Anyway, I got home last Saturday night and had a delicious steak and fries dinner with my family (cause they love me) and then just chilled and watched a movie and then went to visit my all time best friend ever to give her the present I’d been working on since September. Next day was Sunday so I went to church and then napped the rest of the day (literally I now basically nap my Sunday afternoon’s away cause it’s the only time I’d get to sleep while at college) and then at 8:30 I went walking with my good friend and just talked and caught up with all the happenings.
Monday through Friday I was at work at my job I had last summer. What a blessing it is to be able to come home and have a good paying job with some of the best people in the world! I love my co-workers they are so much fun and just a blast to be with. Each night I tried to go walking at 8:30 but one night we ended up going to Yogurtville for frozen Yogurt (which is so good tasting) and another we ended up walking at Celebration Park with our dogs cause the women’s lacrosse team was at the track stadium. and then Thursday I was “cleaning” the house cause Nana was supposed to be coming in town and Friday I ended up chilling at home with the family watching movies. So needless to say I only ended up walking like three times this week.
Saturday I didn’t wake up till 9 which was nice and then I hung out all day till about 2ish when I finally cleaned the upstairs bathroom (it was disgusting and needed to be cleaned desperately) and then Rach, Em and I went to the Frisco mall and hung out and walked around and then went over to Rach’s and watched some movies but then my bro' got off work and I wanted to hang out with him cause I never get too. So I left Rach’s a little early and my bro and I got a chance to just talk and hang out for a while which was nice cause I love him a lot and sometimes I feel like he just doesn’t want to have anything to do with me but oh well boys will be boys.
Today, being Sunday again, consisted of me going to church, my little brother getting set apart as a deacon and then me napping until about 5ish where I then got ready to go to a YSA fireside… only because my friends were going (I honestly hate going to things like that they drive me crazy with some of the things that are taught there and some of the people who attend those kinds of things) and now I’m back home and I decided to post this. And like I said I can’t post a blog without a picture anymore so here’s my picture. I feel it’s very appropriate to this entry and most of my blog.
