Finally, I am a true nerd!

I've always heard that you're not a true nerd until you've read The Lord of the Rings. I am proud to say after 22 years, I have earned my title. 

Besides the fact that it was a very long series, I mostly loved it. The only objection I have is the ending. I think, in this one case, the movie ended better than the book. After talking it over with my more literate husband, I agree that the book needed to end the way it did but I was still hoping for a more happy ending.
