We aquired this well built but rather plain bookshelf when we got married.
It needed something new to better fit in with the TARDIS room. I wanted something subtle but still nerdy.
I got black paint with a flat finish and the same color with a gloss finish. I painted the entire bookshelf with the flat black paint.
I used painters tape and my handy dandy exacto knife to make stencils of my favorite fandom logos.
I then used the gloss to paint in my stencils.
I think it fits perfectly in the TARDIS room with the Harry Potter, Avengers, The Hunger Games, Doctor Who, and Pokemon!
I also whipped up these travel totes for my toothbrush. Now I don't have to use a icky plastic bag.
