Oh the memories! Lora’s first, Blaine’s last and boy is it different sitting in the stands! Since Blaine is a Senior this year, he wanted Dad and Josh to go march on the field with him, so poor Lora got stuck with Zach and Me! I don’t know about her but I know I had fun running on the field and not having the directors care about what I do! And I’m pretty sure Zach was enjoying himself annoying both of his favorite sisters!
And to make the whole night even better Rachael was there! She even saved us seats so we could sit by her in the stands, as you can see Caleb came too and he and Josh both think alike when it comes to make fools out of their sisters! We had a lot of fun making jokes and laughing at all the suckers on the field and also criticizing them about how not straight their lines were and how they couldn’t keep still! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go to another Marching Band Performance without looking and judging their marching!
One Half…
and the Other!
First the Band started in arcs and played some fun stand tunes including the Horse and the Hey Song. Me and Rachael stood up and danced to the Hey Song just like we always used to do but we kept getting lots of funny looks and I have no idea why! Next the Band played the Traditional Show (of course) starting with a fanfare (this one was from Texas Tech) and then Patton, then the Color Guard did a routine to I Don’t Care by Fall Out Boy, then the Tallenettes danced to Copa Cobana wearing their bat wing skirts that the wore when they did Evil Ways back when I was in High School and then they ended with everyone’s favorite, the Allen High School Fight Song. Rachael did the Tallenette dance to the fight song up in the stands to see how many people she could mess up (I tried for a little bit and I think I messed up more people than she did!)
All in all it was a really fun night and I had a blast supporting my brother and sister in their “sport” for the year!
