The Vest. I was pretty excited I could actually make this one. It seems to be just a vest with some pockets.
So I set to work. I bought myself some black fabric. I used one of my favorite shirts as a pattern. I folded it in half and traced the back minus the sleeves on my fabric on a fold. I then traced half the shirts for the sides. Again not the sleeves and I made a rough estimate of how to cut the front of the sides. I then cut everything out making sure to leave a seam allowance. I sewed the sides to the back at the top and sides. And then I spent the rest of it hemming everything. I was able to get everything done and was about to start on some fake pockets but I ran out of thread.
The vest with a white shirt, or if it's really cold on that day I'm going to wear a nice warm long sleeved shirt, but it all depends on this Idaho weather.
