Happy Christmas! We didn’t wake up until almost 8am! Once we got everyone up, we lined up took pictures and then went to go and open Santa gifts and then get ready for church.
It was pouring snow so badly outside that at around 9am we got a phone call saying church was cancelled. We were a bit sad to miss out on the Christmas program but it made for a less stressful Christmas opening. We took our time opening presents and stopped for a few breaks to make sure the little ones were happy. Mom and Dad gave us a beautiful painting to hang in the house (we haven’t quite decided where yet.) Nikki gave me an awesome Tardis ornament and Devin a really cool Star Wars puzzle. Devin did a fantastic job surprising me with a really cool mermaid sequin pillow, a Saber nendoroid, and a camo knife roll!
I only got Devin a sous vide and also told him he had to make us all dinner. He seemed pretty excited about it but I’m not sure who gets the better end of that present :) We got Rachel a little phone that lights up and makes noises.
It may seem like a small Christmas but our big present was our trip to Universal Studio Hollywood. The rest of the day we spent enjoying time together with family. It was a wonderful day!
