Mawage!

Today was the day of the wedding. The sealing wasn’t until 12:00 but due to Los Angeles traffic, we left at about 9am! It wasn’t too bad getting there and we had sometime to look around the temple grounds and the visitor center they had there. It is a beautiful temple and the visitor center was great. Tiffany Upshaw and her daughter Abby got to come for the wedding to support Lora. We left Rachel and Emma with Zach in the visitor center so we could all attend the sealing. It was beautiful and wonderful and we’re so glad that Max is in our family, he and Lora are prefect for each other.

After the sealing we took pictures outside with Max’s family and then headed over to the stake center nearby to set up for the reception. The building was such an old style! They had an atrium, a quiet room in the chapel, and loft areas for the choir and another set of pews! It was so cool. We got everything set up and Lyssa did a wonderful job fixing up the cake (the gluten free section took quite a tumble… but Lyssa worked some magic!)

The reception and ring ceremony were great. Shaun Rushforth our old babysitter from San Antonio, lives in the area and was able to come! After the reception, Devin and I went and took pictures of our little girl around the temple.

Then we headed back to the house in the worst traffic ever! It took over 2 hours to make short trip. It was ridiculous! Once we got back we were exhausted but managed to get a few games of Sushi Go in before crashing.
